The Butterbean Jazz Quartet played for some 45 residents in the Lodge, on June 22, 2023. The group has been performing every Sunday night at Bottoms Up Pizza since 1991. The band started out primarily performing songs from the Great American Songbook, then eventually branched out to more bebop, hard bop, Brazilian music,and contemporary songs from the past 40 years. The group’s leader, Rusty Farmer (Iva Sizemore’s son) will be joined by original members John Winn, Penn Farmer,and Aaron Binder.
